There are plenty of taxis stationed outside of the airports. One we would recommend if you would like to book in advance would be Airport Taxis who start from around £70 one way from Heathrow airport. Please note this is an estimate and they may differ depending on when you book. Taxis in general will be cheaper if booked in advance.

We would strongly suggest to politely ignore the taxi drivers that are stood inside of the arrivals terminal and make your way outside to the taxi rank. It would be worth getting this drivers details to book your return journey to the airport too.

We have a great Uber service here too and as long as you have the app downloaded you can easily pre-book taxis direct from the airport to Heckfield place. Prices start from £75.

We highly recommend Addison Lee if you wish to book a private transfer from the hotel. We have used them before and it is an excellent service. You can make a booking through their website.

Heckfield Place is easily accessible by trains departing from London Waterloo to Winchfield station or Paddington to Reading station. It is a further 15 and 30-minute drive from the stations, respectively, and we recommend pre-booking transportation from the stations to Heckfield.

For those arriving into the Heathrow airport we don’t suggest getting a train to Heckfield and would recommend a taxi or private transfer.
